About Windsor

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten is affiliated with Beijing Yudawei Education Culture Exchange Co. Ltd. Its first flagship campus--Vancouver Forest  in Changping district was founded in April 2007.

As the sister school of the internationally well-known Beijing  College International school , Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten since pre-foundation days has received instructions from  management and early childhood education experts on issues as school construction, operation & management, curriculum designing, enrollment propaganda, team building and so on, at the same time enjoying  resource sharing and support.

Windsor is committed to establishing and promoting the Windsor brand in China, bringing its own fine traditions and rich experience in the field of international education to Chinese children. Through this bridge joining together essence of Chinese and Western education, we carry each parent's hope and lead Windsor students into a wonderful multicultural journey.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten has adopted the “Early Years Foundation Stage” in the “UK National Curriculum” and has merged in the essence of Chinese education, striving to better suit the needs of local students. Windsor has formed a play based approach to basic teaching and Learning and an "immersing" bilingual environment featured curriculum model.

At the same time, taking into thorough consideration the needs of domestic children, Windsor has made adequate preparations to ensure their successful admission into public and private schools.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Changping) (also known as Vancouver Forest Campus) was founded.

During this period, the designs of Windsor kindergarten curriculum-- Bridging the learning gap, Topic Book, and Windsor Curriculum Guide were successively completed. They are the achievements of wisdom and experience of many domestic and foreign experts of preschool education and Windsor senior teachers, like former Head of Early Childhood Education Department of famous College Kate Beith, Dr. Sue O'Shaughnessy, Dr. Jing Zhou, Director of Windsor Education Department Shirley Wan, Headmaster of Windsor Zheng Weng and so on.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten(Vancouver Forest Campus) sent away the first graduates, and more than 140 children has graduated from Vancouver Forest Campus so far.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Shunyi, Beijing) was established. The Kindergarten, located in Legend Garden Villa, with 7 classes and about 100 students attending.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Changping Vancouver Forest Campus ) has been designated as a pre-school teacher training base by Beijing Changping District Education Committee.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Shunyi Legend Garden Campus) is rated as 5A private non-enterprise unit in social organization assessment in Shunyi District.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Changping Vancouver Forest Campus) is rated 4A private non-enterprise unit in social organization assessment in Changping District.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Foshan Campus, Guangdong) was established. The Kindergarten, located in Vanke Crystal City, now opens seven classes with about 170 students attending.

Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten (Foshan Campus) was certified as first class kindergarten in Shunde district and granted the State Standardized Kindergarten in Guangdong Province.

Windsor officially introduced Denmark Lego Education TM Curriculum, and opened in all its branch bilingual kindergartens Lego Education-authorized Lego classrooms, adopting original Lego Education products for a systematically matched curriculum. Lego Education preschool curriculum as an essential supplementary for Windsor education system, together with existing Windsor curriculum, will without doubt help students thrive. 

We have been planning and building Windsor Bilingual Kindergarten in Shenzhen, which as plan will open in March 2018.
