Class K2

Children aged 2-3.Teaching Focus: Through approaches like home visit before enrollment, phased enrollment in the beginning of the semester, classroom environment simulating that of home and a teacher-student ratio of 1:4, Windsor enables young children to adapt to separation from their primary caretakers more quickly and smoothly, and establish trust and attachment with their teachers and peers. At the same time, we pay close attention to developing children's physical stamina, as well as cultivating their consciousness of routine and self-reliance.

Class K3

Children aged 3-4.Teaching Focus: Utilizing the key period for children's language development, through abundant role play games and exploration activities, Windsor provides more opportunities for children to communicate with adults or peers, and thus promotes their development in Chinese and English language, social communication, self-reliance and self-restraint.

Class K4

Children aged 4-5.Teaching Focus: We encourage children to participate in various indoor & outdoor activities for exploration, problem-solving and innovation, providing them with more opportunities for teamwork. We also infiltrate rich Chinese traditional culture elements in teaching.

Class K5 (Catch-up Class for the Younger)

Children aged 5-6.Teaching Focus:Windsor catch-up courses for the younger, fusing together Chinese and UK National Curriculum, improve children's interest in reading, writing, maths and logical reasoning by games. We closely observe children's cultivation of learning and behavior habits, help them establish a sense of responsibility and self-reliance so as to complete their smooth admission into international or Chinese primary school.

Out-of-school Classroom

Windsor believes that there's no limit to children's potential in development and exploration. In order to better match the different topics in the core curriculum, Windsor regularly organizes children to go beyond the schoolyard as well as to walk into and explore real social scenes. During the "People Who Help Us" theme study, the children visited the Fire Brigade, sent letters through the Post Office, entered the barber shops and supermarkets, and learned to respect the workers around us. In order to learn more about the theme of "Food", children visited the orchards to pick fruits and vegetables, went to nearby restaurants and tried ordering meals and paying the bills on their own, and at the same time were required to follow the eating etiquette. The museum, the theater, the bookstore, the farm and the subway station all welcomed the children of Windsor. In these vast and realistic spaces, children's understanding of the world was inspired, their horizons broadened, and their insights improved. They learned practical life skills and at the same time improved social skills and self-confidence.

Outdoor Classroom

The playground is not just a place for children to exercise or to enjoy the sun and air. It is the extension of the classroom.Children can get access to rich exploration resources outdoors. There are the organic plantations in which children participated in reclamation, cultivation and maintenance; there are the sand pools and water tanks that they never get bored of; there are the artistic areas where they can paint graffiti at any time; and there also is the quiet and comfortable reading area... Windsor's outdoor classroom provides children with a broader space for interest development, exploration, eye-opening, Challenger-facing, problem-solving and collaboration.

Characteristic Activities

According to the children's interest and age characteristics, the school offers a variety of meaningful activities such as science, studies of Chinese ancient civilization, creative arts, dance, martial arts, GO, etc., which provides children more space to discover and expand their strengths.
